As driven entrepreneurs, many of us focus on the road ahead, ever reaching towards our lofty goals. 

We spend hours mulling over what we failed to do, discounting our efforts and belittled anything we have done (It must have been a fluke! It's rife with grammatical errors! It's crap compared to what everyone else is doing!). As a result, our self-confidence disappears and we become unable to trust our own intuition.

In our quest for perfection, we forget to give ourselves a little pat on the back for all of the things we've managed to do.

Instead of saying "Way to respond to those 50 emails!" we focus on the 10 we didn't send. 

Instead of saying, "HOLY SHIT GIRL, you put yourself out there!" we tell ourselves we're ridiculous for taking so damn long.

Instead of rewarding ourselves when we complete a goal, we focus on the next 10 we want to accomplish with nary a smile, fist bump, or celebratory sorbet break. 

And so we stall out on progress, feeling like we'll never because able to achieve our goals because we are total failures who can't even do the little things right.

NO MORE!

Take out a piece of paper, set a timer for 5 minutes, and write down as many of your accomplishments that you can think of. Nothing is too big or too small. 

And if this exercise is difficult for you, do it again tomorrow. And the next day. And the next day. And the next day... You may even want to consider keeping a Ta-Da! List at your desk so you can be reminded on the regular of just how far you've come. 

At the end of the day, know this: you have a LOT to be proud of.
