Introduce yourself as if you were speaking from the cockpit.
Flying makes me nervous. How about from a semi? Breaker 1-9 SWF on the line giving you the what-for on your body decor. I've seen a lot of wild things in my 34 years but there is no time better than the one we're in.

How do you show your personality through your style? How does your style relate to the work that you do?
I suppose the culmination of my daily clothing choices would give you a sense of my general personality. But on a daily basis, the clothes I choose are a direct result of my mood and/or the weather. If I'm feeling a little gloomy, I tend to go for dark colors or cozy knits. When I'm feeling more upbeat, I'll have splashes of color or lots of shimmer. I work in an professional environment but the dress code is a bit more liberal than in a financial company office, for example.

If you could name a nail polish color after yourself, what would it be?
Joy Meets Girl

Not all flights are smooth. Tell us about how you handle turbulence in your work and life.
Lucky for me, I have an incredible support system at home. If I'm having a rough go of things, my husband will be sure to give me some perspective followed up with a good hearty laugh. He makes me laugh every single day without trying. It helps when I feel like I'm running through brick walls. My daughter has been an incredible addition to my perspective posse. She takes after her father. Having a solid home base filled with love, dog snuggles and tall glasses of wine make even the darkest days a little less so.

Who is the wind beneath your wings?
See above, coupled with the most incredibly supportive {and humbling} friends and family.

Advice to other women as they navigate the professional world?
Own who you are. Push your own boundaries. Be proud of your mistakes and the lessons you learned from them. And dress like you mean it.
