What: Redd Up Thread Up, Fall Harvest Edition
When: November 12-13 from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Where: Assemble, 5125 Penn Ave.
Cost: $10 Saturday, $5 Sunday
We are super excited for another edition of Redd Up Thread Up. This year, the event is partnering with Assemble, the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, and The Pittsburgh Tote Bag Project. 100% of the proceeds are being donated to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
The event will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, November 12-13, 2011 at Assemble. You can purchase an event tote bag at the door to stuff with treasures. Or, better yet. Donate your gently used items (men's and women's!) and receive a discounted tote bag to “shop” at the event ($5 Saturday, free Sunday).
Donations will be accepted November 7-11, from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Assemble.
As part of Redd Up Thread Up’s sustainable harvest theme, you are encouraged to donate items in reusable tote bags that will be donated to The Pittsburgh Tote Bag Project, an organization that collects new & gently used tote bags for distribution to the region’s food pantries. Want to take it your generosity to the next level? Donate canned goods along with clothing donations.
