Farewell from Carrie

The Women of Propelle

Every entrepreneur will face a major transition or two over the course of being in business. Propelle is no different, as we close out 2013 with a change of our own.

Propelle wouldn’t be where it is today without the chutzpah, networking prowess, marketing genius, and excitement from founder Carrie Nardini. It is with a great amount of love and respect that we announce her departure from Propelle. We wish her (and I Made It! Market) all the best.

We are happy to say that Propelle will continue to support women entrepreneurs in Pittsburgh and beyond through our current offerings. We’ve also got a few new things up our sleeves, so stay tuned!

With Love and Gratitude, Emily + Kate

Dearest Propellers,

Happy holidays and a very happy New Year to all.

The New Year is often a time of reflection and a physical STOP after the craziness of a productive year. I hope that you are all taking some time to zone out, enjoy friends and family, and to restore your energy before plunging back into work for 2014. Entrepreneurs often feel like breaks don't apply to them, when really they are one of the most important actions (or non-actions) you can take to fuel your energy for the long term success of your business.

I know this myself, as I wear many hats outside of my Propelle Co-Pilot hat. This includes mom to an energetic 2 year old, wife, and the Director of the I Made It! Market.

I have so much to be thankful for this year including having the opportunity to meet so many of you through Propelle's Networking Happy Hours, Propelle Presents, masterminds, workshops, the retreat, and Rock-It!. And, I have my Propelle Co-Pilots to be thankful for. Not only are they two of the most dynamic, intelligent, and supportive entrepreneurial women I know, but they are also close friends.

So it is with a great deal of love, respect, and support from Emily and Kate that I must announce my departure as a Co-Pilot of Propelle. As I Made It! Market continues to grow, I have found that I must focus on helping small businesses grow and flourish through the I Made It! Market community.

Since our goals are so similar, I will remain an energetic member of the Propelle community as a sponsor and as the organization's biggest champion.

If I were to list the pivotal moments in my life that have happened because of my participation in Propelle, the list would go on for pages.

I am eternally thankful for the opportunity to be a founding Co-Pilot of Propelle and I look forward to continuing to learn from—and with—the inspirational women in the Propelle network.

With lots of love and wishes for a very Happy New Year,

Carrie
