Pittsburgh is full of amazing organizations, fabulous eateries, and seriously fun happenings in and out of the entrepreneurial landscape. We thought it would be fun to start highlighting all of the cool happenings around town.

Join organizers, Alexandra Oliver and Vicky Clark, for a fun, inclusive one-day event that brings together diverse communities to create and improve Wikipedia articles related to women in the arts.

Despite its wide reach, Wikipedia suffers from a severe gender imbalance: since most editors are men, articles conform to men's interests and perspectives. In response, diverse women and allies are joining together to celebrate women’s cultural achievements and inspire a new generation of women Wikipedians.

Whether you are looking for feedback on a idea, a co-founder, specific skill sets, or a team to help you execute, Startup Weekends are the perfect environment in which to test your idea and take the first steps towards launching your own startup.

The Women’s Edition is dedicated to showcasing the ideas, talent, and drive of women entrepreneurs in the Pittsburgh region. From the organizers to the judges to the coaches to the food(!), female entrepreneurs will be highlighted throughout the weekend.
