Open Your Heart FUNraiser at Paint Monkey

Join Rock Star, Leigh-Anne Weiss of Airheads Balloon Art and the American Heart Association on June 16th for a fun evening at Paint Monkey in Lawrenceville. Proceeds benefit Go Red’s Open Your Heart. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and painting begins at 6:00. There will be soft drinks and snacks, and you are welcome to BYOB.

Hustle Her Way Summit

Hustle HER Way is taking Pittsburgh by storm on June 17th and 18th. Organized by Kyshira Moffet, it is a one of kind experience for dynamic women with an entrepreneurial spirit. The goal of the event is to provide ambitious women with the tools and resources they need to be successful in pursuit of their aspirations. Whether you are career driven or have an entrepreneurial spirit, this event is for you!

The summit kicks off on the 17th with networking where registrants will have the opportunity to network and connect with the event sponsors and speakers. The summit officially commences on June 18th in downtown Pittsburgh. Sessions range from branding to managing your finances.

The Key of She Brass Workshop

This is a one day event for brass playing girls happening on Sunday, July 16th at the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust Education Center. The workshop is completely run by women, taught by women, and for young women.

Registration is open to girls currently in 9th-12th grade who play any brass instrument, and is limited to 40 students.

The mission of Key of She Brass Workshop is:

  • to develop the musical knowledge and abilities of young brass players,
  • to advance gender equity in professional brass sections,
  • to empower young women to pursue opportunities in male dominated fields, and
  • to connect young female brass players with peers and professional mentors.

Style Social: Killer Heels at The Frick

Be among the first in Pittsburgh to experience this exciting exhibition! Join local fashion bloggers (and seriously fashionable women) at the Frick Art & Historical Center in Point Breeze on Tuesday, June 21st for a private viewing of the new exhibit.
